1975 DeKon Monza (chassis# 1004)

Tom Frank purchased this Chevrolet Monza Dekon in 1975, and raced it from 1976 to 1979. This car did well in IMSA competition, achieving several top five finishes. By 1978, this car also began running in the SCCA Trans-Am Championship, and also finished in the top ten in that series.

This was one of the earliest DeKon Monzas to run fuel injection, and the car continues to run the same set up in vintage competition today.

Executive Motor Homes is featured prominently on it's 1976 to 1979 livery because this was a company owned by Tom Frank. Huffaker Engineering provided assistance with the mechanical prep of the car, and thus, their company name was also featured on the car.

During the 1980s this car did quite well in SCCA Super Production with both David France and Frank Emmett as drivers.

After a long spell in vintage competition, out of it's early paint scheme, the car has now been faithfully returned to it's white and green Executive Motorhomes livery.
